Spring 2026 - Windsor Mom's Flag Football League

The CT Flag Mom's Flag Football League in Windsor is for women who are looking to get out, have some fun with friends (and make some new ones) and show your kids that you still got it!!!

New Eligibility Requirement for 2026: The Windsor Moms Flag Football League is open to women age 30+ who currently have, or have previously had, a child in the league. Please be prepared to answer the following questions:

Do you currently have a child playing in the league?
Did you previously have a child play in the league (grandfathered)?

You will be required to provide the name of the child in registration. Questions about eligibility, see our FAQs below.

2026 Windsor Season Info

Location: Jack O'Brien Stadium, 25 Sage Park Road, Windsor, CT

Tentative Schedule: Games will follow our Windsor youth schedule and be played on Sundays between 12-4pm.

Required Equipment:

Mouthguard - CT flag offers the option to purchase one through registration, or parents may purchase from another vendor.

Protective headgear - CT Flag does not require adult players to wear protective headgear, but we do recommend it. Players can purchase a softshell helmet or a protective headband. CT Flag offers several discounted purchase options that you will receive upon registration.

Team Registrations & Individual Registrations Welcome - IF YOU WANT TO REGISTER A TEAM, PLEASE READ THIS.

Team registrations: If you are the coach, you will register yourself and select the role of "Coach". Once you have completed registration, you will then be sent a Team Code for you to share with your fellow teammates. We require a minimum of 10 women on each roster. Maximum number of players is 15
Free Agents: Free agents will be able to register as well. Simply select the free agent option. Please read the FAQs regarding Free Agents below

Cost & What's Included

Registration is $164.99 per player, and includes a minimum of 7 games (including playoffs - everyone makes the playoffs). Each player will receive a customized dri-fit jersey/shirt and a flag belt that they will keep at the end of the season.

Mom’s Flag Football League – Eligibility FAQ

Q: I’m over 30 but don’t currently have a child in the league. Am I eligible to play?

Our Mom’s Flag Football League is primarily intended for women ages 30+ who currently have, or have previously had, a child in our youth league. This helps ensure a shared understanding of our league culture and keeps the experience fun, recreational, and community-focused.

We recognize that there may be limited circumstances where a participant over 30 does not meet this criterion. These cases may be considered on an individual basis and are subject to league approval. Approval is not guaranteed and will be based on alignment with the spirit and expectations of the league.

Q: Why is having a connection to the youth league important?

Our program is built around a specific culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, respect, and positive community engagement. Participants who have been part of our youth league—past or present—are generally more familiar with these expectations, which helps create a better experience for everyone involved.

Q: Is this meant to exclude people?

Not at all. These guidelines are in place to protect the recreational nature of the league and ensure it remains enjoyable, welcoming, and low-drama for all participants. The goal is alignment, not exclusion.

Q: How do I request consideration if I don’t meet the primary eligibility requirement?

If you are over 30 and do not have a current or former child in the league, you may indicate this during registration. Your request will be reviewed by league administration, and you will be notified if approval is granted.

FREE AGENT FAQ

Q: What happens when I sign up as a Free Agent?

Our staff will work hard to either create a team made up of other free agent players or try to place you an existing team that needs players.

Q: What happens if I don’t get placed on a team?

We pride ourselves on creating opportunities for people, BUT it does not always happen. You will get a full refund if we are unable to place you.

Q: Can I request to be put on the same team as a friend?

Yes! We offer team registration. If you are the first person in the group to register choose the “Team Registration” option and create a team name. Once you’ve completed the registration process other members of your group will be able to register. The rest of the group must make sure to choose the group name that you created when registering and will need the team code you are assigned.

Q: How do I know if I’ve been placed on a team?

You will receive an email notification that you have been placed on a team along with that team’s info.

Q: What do I do if I have not received any notifications of team placement and the league is getting ready to start?

We do our best to let you know one way or another if you have been placed on a team. However, if the league start date is less than a week away and you have not heard anything from us please contact us at: [email protected]
