DESCRIPTION:  This is a NON-CONTACT Youth Flag Program and backed by The American Flag Football League (“AFFL”). This is a recreation league, so there are no tryouts, cuts, etc. There is a full set of rules for each division developed by AFFL Youth and CT Flag.  A game jersey and flag belt will be provided - that you get to keep!!!

MISSION:  Our mission is to ensure a fun experience by providing physical activity and encouraging full participation in a non-contact youth flag football league. Fundamental skills of football will be taught while incorporating values of teamwork, responsibility, and sportsmanship. Every participant will be given the chance to learn the fundamental skills of every position and be able to apply those skills in games. The league will ensure an environment of safety, respect, and fair play.

TOWNS:  Portland, Glastonbury, Rocky Hill, Cromwell, Middletown, Haddam, East Haddam & all surrounding towns.

ELIGIBILITY:  Boys and Girls Ages 3-15 years old.  Ages as of January 1st, 2022.

DIVISIONS:  Coed:  6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 15U.  Some divisions may be combined if needed.

WHEN:  Practices are held ONE weeknight per week at the coaches’ discretion. Games are ONE 40-minute 5v5 game and will be held on Saturdays or Sundays.  Season begins September 11 and runs 9 weeks.

WHERE:  Agogliati Field, Middlesex Avenue, Portland, CT

FEE:  $155.00 per registrant.  Registration includes a jersey (name on the back optional) and set of flags for the child to keep!

COACHES:  Volunteer Head and Assistant Coaches are needed!!!  (Background checks are required).
