Fall Registration is open for CT Flag, and spots are filling quickly!

This fall, CT Flag will once again offer leagues in Windsor and Portland, and we are looking forward to another exciting season of football, development, competition, and community.

Registration closes at midnight on August 7—or earlier if we reach capacity. Several divisions are already approaching capacity, and we have started forming wait lists, so we strongly encourage families to register as soon as possible.

On the Wait List? Volunteer to Coach!

Our ability to add more players and teams often depends on having enough volunteer head coaches.

If your child is placed on a wait list and you volunteer to serve as a head coach, your child will receive priority placement and will be brought into the league regardless of their current position on the wait list.

No previous coaching experience is required. CT Flag provides coaches with resources, guidance, and support throughout the season. It is a great opportunity to get involved, help more children play, and make a positive impact on your team.

CT Flag Supports Uconn Women's Flag Football

The Connecticut Flag Football League was proud to donate 50+ custom uniforms to the UConn Women’s Flag Football Club Team — helping bring their vision to life.

With support from Shruumz, we were able to take the ladies’ design and turn it into reality so they can finally look like a team when they compete against other schools.

We believe in investing in young women who are chasing big goals, especially when those goals include competing at the collegiate level in a sport they love.

Unfortunately, UConn has stopped funding support for their club teams, which includes the women’s flag team as they push to become officially recognized. That’s tough to hear… but it won’t stop this movement.

If you live in Connecticut, we encourage you to contact your local state representative and ask why. Let’s make sure support goes where it belongs — behind this incredible group of young women building something special.

The future of women’s flag football is bright in CT… and we’re just getting started.

CT Flag Girls Flag With The Ny Giants

CT Flag proudly hosted a Girls High School Flag Football Kickoff Clinic at the Day Hill Dome in Windsor, bringing together 400 athletes from across the state to celebrate the continued growth of the game.

The event featured 15 schools from the Central Connecticut Conference, 6 from the Greater Hartford Conference, and 4 from the FCIAC, highlighting the rapid expansion of girls flag football across multiple regions.

We were honored to be joined by the New York Giants, including former Giant and 2× Super Bowl Champion Jonathan Casillas, as well as Windsor High School alum and current Giants safety Jason Pinnock. Their presence made an already special day even more meaningful for the athletes in attendance.

The clinic was designed to showcase the momentum behind the sport while creating an unforgettable experience for the players as we officially kick off the third season of high school girls flag football in Connecticut. It was a powerful reminder of how far the game has come—and where it’s headed next.
